Every year, Milwaukie hosts a Winter Solstice community gathering to watch the Christmas Ships Parade.  For 2019, that will be on Saturday, December 21st — watch for details on the City of Milwaukie website in December.

But the ships actually come to Milwaukie 5 TIMES every December, and each is a great opportunity to bring your friends or family downtown to patronize a great downtown restaurants and then walk across McLoughlin to view the ships.  The dates the ships are coming this year, and approximate times, are:

Wednesday, December 11 around 7:30pm 

Friday, December 13 around 7:30pm

Wednesday, December 18 around 7:30pm

Friday, December 20 around 7:30pm

Saturday, December 21 around 5:30pm (Solstice Event)
